Children's Lessons And Day Courses

Children's Lessons

Children's lessons start with small groups of six, in the indoor school. We have super quiet well trained ponies. For younger children we have week day starter lessons of 30 minutes. (We take small children from the age of five years upwards). Children can progress on to 45 minute lessons and hour groups. They improve their balance, coordination and fitness skills, while having good fun.

Teenagers lessons

We have a selection of excellent competition ponies for the advanced teenage rider. These lessons work towards teaching advanced work. The lessons cover dressage, show jumping and cross country.


Children’s Day Courses

We hold these in the school holidays. They start at 9.30 till 2.45. The day involves two riding lessons and two stable management lessons. Children are encouraged to help in the care of the ponies. The days are great fun. A great way to improve riding skills and learn how to take care of a pony.
 

Two Hour Children’s Day Courses (for the little ones)

These courses are held in the afternoon during the school holidays. They include one riding lesson and a stable management lesson, so the younger riders can learn how to groom a pony and look after it.


Safe Environment

All children learn to ride in a structured and safe environment.

Lessons are very popular and early booking is recommended.
