BHS And NVQ Training

 We run a part time BHS stage I, II & III course on Wednesday evenings from 6.45pm till 9.15pm which includes 1 hour riding tuition & 1 hour stable management training pupils towards taking the exams.
The riding will include assessments and working to improve your balanced seat, position, 'feel', riding knowledge and give you an insight into the exercises used in the exams. The stable management sessions follows a list of subjects, some theory, others practical, covering all the topics in 27 weeks.

Full Time Student Career
Training Courses towards BHS and NVQ exams are offered at Hallingbury Hall. All students are interviewed for these limited places and experience valuable 'on the job training' whilst working on the yard with a selection of riding school horses and ponies, liveries and competition horses.
All students work a five day week and receive three 1 hour riding lessons and three 45 minute stable management sessions per week during their working day. Warm comfortable accommodation and good training wage is offered.
Each week there is a training subject which is worked on to improve students knowledge and practical work.
Students have written questions to complete for their NVQ portfolio and practical assessments.
We have a very high pass rate. The NVQ II full time course runs for approximately 12 months, after which students can continue towards the NVQ III.
